The course is divided into two three-day sessions and you may enroll in one session or both. Optional workshops are presented on Sunday to allow participants the opportunity to explore a topic in detail. Or, you can choose to take the day off and enjoy San Diego.
This program will feature presentations of the latest information in virtually every area of medicine. The program is divided into sessions that focus on Cancer, Hematology, Pulmonary Disease, Cardiovascular Diseases, Gastroenterology, Kidney Disease, Palliative Medicine, Pain Management, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Social Issues, Hospitalist Issues, GU Issues, Health Maintenance, Musculoskeletal Issues, Alternative Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
The entire course is focused on a presentation of the evidence for or against diagnostic or therapeutic recommendations with an emphasis on evidence-based decision making in Internal Medicine. We have assembled state-of-the-art lectures and timely reviews, and each presentation will focus on practical decision making.
