Learning from continuous process improvement deployment initiatives across the services. Military personnel can apply modern methods of Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Process Improvement management initiatives to help recapture control and hope in a time of frustration and skyrocketing costs. This learning program illustrates practicalities behind the entire LSS/CPI process: from defining the problem to implementing a solution to holding onto the gains achieved. IDGA’s Lean Six Sigma for Defense conference series demonstrates what works and does not work in actual military practice. Presenting case studies of specific continuous improvement projects ranging from reducing repair cycle time rates to abandoning obsolete and unproductive activities that free resources for more productive uses to understanding how to garner support for the deployment of these initiatives! Most importantly, the methodologies used to accomplish these results across the services are quite similar. The aim, the motive and the purpose of this conference is to demonstrate a coherent, unified set of principles and practices that are being used to great advantage across the military and to help you maintain your position and competitive advantage!
