The 6th Annual International Computer Refurbishers' Summit: “Prospering in Recessionary Times” will feature presentations on new faster technologies for data sanitation, how to approach corporate and institutional equipment suppliers during a recession, stimulus funding, and all the new developments in our industry.

Hosted by TechSoup Global, this years Summit will be held at the Eden Roc, Renaissance Hotel located in Miami Beach, Florida on October 14th and 15th 2009.

Registration this year is $250 per person.

We'll be staging a vigorous debate between the two competing accreditation standards: R2 and E-Stewards. Each program will be represented by their founders and their strongest supporters. Jim Puckett or Sarah Westervelt from Basel Action Network will be teaming up with Bob Houghton of Redemtech on behalf of the new E-Stewards accreditation program. Eric Harris of ISRI and Jake Player of TechTurn will represent the new R2 accreditation program.

The accreditation standard debate is just one of the Summit's several big picture perspectives and technical workshops featured to keep you informed and on top of trends. This is truly the best opportunity for you to meet colleagues from across the globe working in the areas of computer refurbishing and repair, and asset management.
