Description
While implant supported overdentures are considered the standard of care for fully edentulous patients, traditional two-stage implant therapy and delayed load concepts can require a year to deliver. Multiple surgeries, countless office visits and prolonged waiting periods for osseointegration and soft tissue healing increase overhead and decrease patient acceptance.
The same-day immediate load treatment protocol enables the implant surgeon and the restoring clinicians to provide both surgical and restorative procedures for a fixed hybrid bridge in one visit.
Participants will also learn about different approaches in bone regeneration, emphasizing on the differences between traditional autogenous bone grafting and biological approaches. Additionally, external and internal sinus augmentation techniques will be discussed. The ultimate goal of these discussions is to promote a minimally invasive, predictable treatment solution for patients.
A brief discussion on practice management will also be presented. Participants will gain knowledge on how best to integrate this treatment protocol into their practice to maximize treatment acceptance and success!
