The Nottingham Eye Symposium and Research Meeting commenced in 1997 as a showcase for the annual "Norman Galloway Lecture". Each year a lecturer of high standing within the ophthalmic community is invited to deliver this prestigious lecture. This year, the honour has been bestowed upon Professor David Wong who is presently working in Hong Kong. Other distinguished speakers will be participating in the symposium and there will be research presentations by trainee ophthalmologists, visual scientists and optometrists.

Lunch and refreshments are provided during breaks with a trade exibition by our sponsors.

Features research trainee abstract presentations (with oral and poster prizes), guest presentations by leading optometrists, an afternoon symposium and the Norman Galloway Lecture.
