Description
Since its first version, XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) has significantly evolved. Defined as a language for the electronic communication of business and financial data (from xbrl.org), XBRL is considered the new standard for financial reporting. It allows information modeling and expression of logical meaning often needed in business reporting and one of its most important uses is to be able to exchange financial information, such as financial statements. Several issues have surfaced, however, with respect to XBRL implementation such as interoperability and implementation costs. With implementation imminent, these issues must now be addressed in order to move forward.
Critical Issues and Relevant Updates on XBRL Implementation LIVE Webcast will provide executives with a comprehensive update on this topic. A key panel of thought leaders and experts will cover many of the most critical issues surrounding implementation with the goal of helping you implement XBRL at your firm.
