This is the tenth conference in the series that has become a tradition, known as the 'GAW' conferences. They started life over 20 years ago in 1992, and have a reputation both from the conferences and the proceeding volumes for being at the forefront of the geology of Arab World; the standard reference for Arab geoscientists. GAW10, the 10th International conference on the Geology of the Arab World is organized by the Faculty of Science, Cairo University. The Organizing Committee has the pleasure to invite you to participate in the 10th International Conference on the Geology of the Arab World (GAW 10), which will be held at Cairo University, Egypt (3rd. –6th. April, 2010). We are honored to receive you in Cairo and we will work hard to provide an exciting opportunity for all participants to share experiences and have fruitful discussions on the Geology of the Arab World, and related topics from other countries. The Scientific Program of GAW10 includes Plenary Lectures, Invited Talks, Technical Sessions, Workshops, Field Trips and Exhibition.
