The International Conference on International Business aims to bring together academics and practitioners in order to share ideas and methods for the exploration of foreign direct investment (FDI), the role of multinational corporations (MNCs) and globalization.
The conference will take place on 22-23 May 2010 and will be organized in parallel sessions of English and Greek. The conference will focus on - but not limited to – empirical research in the following fields:
* Entrepreneurship and international business environment
* Global crisis and financial management
* Global crisis and international business climate
* Global crisis and international policy agenda
* Globalization, MNCs, competitiveness and development
* MNCs and political strategies
* Impact and determinants of FDI
* FDI and European economic integration
* FDI and transition
* FDI, trade and regional integration
* Prospects towards European Union (EU) membership
A special session will be dedicated to
FDI DETERMINANTS IN SOUTHEAST EUROPE AND PROSPECTS TOWARDS EU MEMBERSHIP IN THE WESTERN BALKANS AND TURKEY.
