Description

Welcome Note
Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce the 1st International symposium on Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Oculoplastics Today 2010 to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel on April 8th-9th 2010. This will be the first meeting in anticipation for future meetings.

The growing interest in Oculoplastics and cosmetic surgery and the increase in therapeutic and diagnostic modalities in the field of orbital, eye plastic and lacrimal surgery, make this meeting of particular interest and importance.

The landscape of ophthalmic plastic surgery and the innovations in the field are extremely diverse and wide on one hand and are commonly encountered by general ophthalmologists and eye plastic surgeons on the other hand. This calls for the opinion leaders in the field to gather and discuss and update each other on common topics in this wide field. We hope to create a comfortable atmosphere for discussion in Tel Aviv.

Nothing underscores the variety of Israel’s attractions more than realizing that within a few hours you can go from the snowy heights of Mount Hermon to the Judean Desert and the saltiest sea on earth, the Dead Sea, while visiting ancient biblical cities, covered markets and a high-rise metropolis on the way. This is what makes Israel truly a destination with something for everyone. There is no better time to visit our beautiful country than in the spring.

Tel Aviv, the "sleep-less city", classified by geographers as a “world city,” offers beautiful beaches, museums, opera, theater and dance, fine restaurants with cuisines from around the world.

We hope you join us in Tel Aviv for this unique meeting Oculoplastics Today 2010, and we look forward to welcoming you here.
