| Description |
“The COINS” is engaged in an extensive composition of activities that give an opportunity for
bachelor and master students to present their researches to international audience. By creating
opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between students and jury, "The COINS" serves a
platform for knowledge sharing, entertaining cultural exchanges and discussions. Sliced into
two main sections: BIOcoin and GEOcoin, the Conference will provide a suitable spot for
students to introduce their projects according to the topic they work on. Projects based on
Nature Sciences, including Botany, Zoology and Ecology, Hydrology, Geography, Geology,
Meteorology as well as Biotechnology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology are
welcome to be presented.

Vilnius University, Nature Science Faculty is the host and organiser of the annual International Science Conference "The COINS". Organized by active students, supported by lectures and delighted by participants the Conference will appear as the seventh internationally active, politically neutral, and intellectually objective event, where students will have a great chance to sparkle as perspective scientists.
The COINS 2009 is not only a conference. It is a challenge to dig deeper, seek wider and reach
higher. It is also a lovely place where “science-makers” meet and share their knowledge,
experience and can expand their cultural understanding.
