Description Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure and honor to invite you to share the updated knowledge and recent developments in the field of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases during the "Seventh Mediterranean Meeting on Hypertension and Atherosclerosis" organized in collaboration with the Turkish Society of Hypertension and Atherosclerosis endorsed by the European Society of Hypertension, between April 14 - 18, 2010 in Cappadocia / Turkey.

Cardiovascular diseases remain a major threat to public health being a global issue together with associated risk factors.

"The Turkish Society of Hypertension and Atherosclerosis" and "The European Society of Hypertension" are two societies that both aim to stimulate research in cardiovascular area and to develop perception of the risk posed by hypertension and its necessity of keeping under control. They have performed together in several meetings in the past and wish to support relations between investigators and clinicians involved hypertension.

We believe that the "Seventh Mediterranean Meeting on Hypertension and Atherosclerosis” will provide you a unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge research in the whole spectrum of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, to learn about the most recent clinical trials of antihypertensive treatment, and to discuss state of the-art treatment guidelines with the world’s leading experts. The scientific program will include lectures on “hot” topics, oral presentations and posters, video sessions, educational activities and satellite symposia. Our main thrust will be to encourage continuous education where both experts and delegates meet to share and learn.

We believe that the forthcoming meeting will provide this gorgeous opportunity and strengthen friendships while standing in a precious experience.

The Organizing Committee wishes to welcome you and your colleagues in Cappadocia, in April 2010.
