The Harmony Institute, Harmony Development, and Florida Institute of Technology presents the Nature of Science conference.
On Friday, April 16, 2010 Dr. Neil Tyson will make a presentation at Harmony High to approximately 600 science competition students, parents, teachers, and VIPS. Dr. Tyson will award a full scholarship to FIT to the winning senior of the "Battle of the Books", a SMACKdown science competition.
On Saturday April 17, 2010 there will be a open-invitation roundtable forum consisting of six panel discussionist including Alan Beck, David Cook, Anjane Krothapalli, Thane Maynard, Sam Ross, and Arthur Wendel.
Proceeding this event will be the Meeting of the Mind in the Harmony town square. Immediately following will be the 7th Annual Dark Sky Festival . At the DSF there will be activities for children as well adults.
