EGC is an International French-Speaking conference which is devoted to theories, methods and applications of Data Mining, Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery in Databases, Knowledge Management and Engineering. It aims to bring together researchers and company managers in this area in order to present work of high quality and exchange new ideas.

Several kinds of communications are possible: tutorials, workshops, oral presentations, posters, and software demonstrations.

Authors are invited to submit original research and application papers (6 or 12 pages) in French or in English (only for non French speakers).
Accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the RNTI journal "Revue des nouvelles Technologies de l'Information"
(site web: http://www.antsearch.univ-tours.fr/rnti/default.asp?FCT=DP&ID_PAGE=1).

In addition, selected best papers will be asked to submit a revised version to be included in international post-proceedings published by Springer-Verlag.

Further, 2 prices of 1500 euros awarded to the best academic and industrial papers.
