The research has been facilitated by the various Centers of Excellence and the faculty, which has been very prolific in publishing books, articles and papers on topical issues.
Introduction to the conference
The major factors which brought a breakthrough in electronics and IT industry are undoubtfully Mobile and Embedded technology. Current market of electronics is dominated by PDA’s, mobile phones and many hand held devices. Life without them seems impossible. The latest advancements in the field of communication such as Mobile WiMAX, Co-operate diversity UWB, GPRS, HSCSD etc have established a new era.
Embedded system is used in every thing from consumer electronics to industrial equipments. These systems are playing a major role in boom of wireless communication channels. By leveraging the growing popularity of Embedded system driven devices, such as PDA’s and web enabled cell phones, organizations can tap potentially massive new revenue streams and make a positive impact on bottom lines. The scope for application of embedded systems is ever-widening, encompassing almost every activity of the life today. Recent trends in Mobile Platforms, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) towards 4G pose new challenges for both embedded technology and mobile communication.
Scope
The scope of the conference is to give emphasis on the tremendous advances in mobile communications and embedded systems technology, combined with the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, generates new challenges and problems requiring interactions between different network layers and applications in order to offer advanced services. This conference intends to bring together professionals, academics, industry experts, students, enthusiasts to discuss various emerging trends, innovation, share research results and new directions in the field of Embedded systems, Mobile Communication and Computing
