Theme â€“ â€˜Innovative Business Idea: Model for Growthâ€™
SVKMâ€™s NMIMS School of Business Management is organizing a case study competition on the above subject. Innovation has become imperative for growth. The success stories of many a conglomerate have indeed proved that a sustainable growth is a result of continuous innovation. Companies like Google, GE, Tataâ€™s are all leading examples. The contestants are required to present an innovative idea / concept which has been implemented or in the process of being implemented and has lead to sustainable growth for the company.
The purpose is to provide a common platform to distinguished academicians, management students and research scholars for exchange of views, concerns and ideas. It will help in the creation of fresh knowledge base and provide direction to the business, academia and policy makers to effectively cope with future challenges.
We extend an invitation to faculty and to the management students of your institute to contribute case studies in the summit to make it a grand success.
Guidelines for Academicians/Management Students
ïƒ˜ The competition will be open to faculty members, management students and research scholars of all Institutes and Universities.
ïƒ˜ Two copies of the case study, one soft copy and one hard copy, (not exceeding 3000 words, 1.5 spaced, Times New Roman font, 12 font size) along with the Authorâ€™s Curriculum Vitae should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
ïƒ˜ The last date for the receipt of case study is 2nd Jan 2010. The soft copy of the case in pdf form needs to be sent to the abovementioned email addresses on the same day. You will be intimated on the selection of the case by 7th January 2010.
ïƒ˜ The short listed candidates (maximum of 2 in case of a team) will be paid Second class, AC, 3 tier fare to and fro to participate in the final rounds of the contest. Accommodation on twin sharing basis will be provided.
ïƒ˜ The verdict of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or appeals shall be entertained.
ïƒ˜ The Best case study will be awarded during the Valedictory Function.
