The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (www.culturaldiplomacy.org) is currently accepting applications to the February Session of the ICD Academy for Cultural Diplomacy.
Who can apply?
The Academy Session is open to applications from anyone interested in learning about the field of Cultural Diplomacy.
What will the Academy Session involve?
The program for the upcoming session will consist of lectures, seminars and workshops on cultural diplomacy, and analyses of case studies from across the world. It will also include social activities and cultural excursions in and around Berlin. During the week, you will meet with leading figures from the political, diplomatic, academic and civil society spheres to discuss cultural diplomacy, international relations, and salient issues within these fields.

The European Commission Representation in Berlin
The German Academic Exchange Service
The German Parliament
Berlin’s Museum Island

What are the aims of the Academy Sessions?
The Sessions aim to introduce and inform the participants about the field of Cultural Diplomacy and its importance today, create a network between the Seminar participants, and give the participants creative ideas and support for future initiatives.
What happens after each Session?
After completing the Academy Session, you will become a member of the ICD Network. The ICD will then support you in conducting research and in organizing and developing leadership initiatives. You are also invited to join the ICD Online Forum where you can network with the other ICD Network Members from around the world.
