Convenor: Mr David Sharp, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
There has been enormous advances in the application of materials and devices to spinal surgery over the past 20 years, and exciting innovations continue. However, further collaboration and also improved methods of introduction of these devices, remain fundamental to the developments in this field. This interdisciplinary symposium will bring together engineers, surgeons and scientists to provide an important forum for the exchange of ideas and will address common spinal conditions, linking the basic science to the surgical application.
