| Description |
NAFIPS 2010 aims to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners to present the latest achievements and innovations in the area of fuzzy information processing, to discuss thought-provoking developments and challenges, and to consider potential future directions.
Papers received as of the due date will be eligible to possibly participate in an extended version of their paper being published in a special issue of the International Journal of Approximate Reasoning.
Authors are invited to prepare papers of any length in IEEE style (see here for details) including results, figures, and references.
Students are strongly encourage to submit papers under the mentoring of their faculty advisor. Special best paper awards are to be presented at the conference banquet to recognize the accomplishments of students and their faculty advisors. To qualify, a student or a group of students must be the primary author(s) of the paper. The paper will be judged based on manuscript content and presentation quality. Student papers should list their faculty mentor's name in last position. While faculty are expected to provide guidance in the writing of the paper they must (of course) not do the actual writing themselves.
