You are warmly invited to attend the DINFISH2010 symposium
Dynamics of Inland Fish and Fisheries: Toward a Synthesis of Objectives, Models and Data Analyses for Sustainable Management
that will take place on 13-16 September 2010 in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic.
DINFISH2010 (www.dinfish2010.wz.cz) will provide an opportunity for scientists,
students and stakeholders to come together, discuss recent developments in the
studies of freshwater fish population dynamics and exchange ideas on the future of
inland fisheries.
The symposium will cover a range of topics including:
• data analyses
• models of fish populations
• assessment of the current state of inland fisheries
• models of optimal exploitation strategies
The area around Ceske Budejovice, 150 km south of Prague, is home to extensive
aquaculture and several large man-made reservoirs with intensively studied fish
communities. Ceske Budejovice is also the home of the world-famous Budvar
(Budweiser) beer and its historical setting promises a unique symposium venue.
