Description The aim of the 16th GCC eGovernment and eServices Forum is to assist in developing and discussing the strategies for the transformation of GCC eGovernment services to achieve global competitiveness. Over the years, this forum has established itself as the largest eGovernment forum in the region and one of the most important events on the calendar of regional and global eGovernment professionals.

Organized in cooperation with the eGovernment Institute, this forum examines the utility of maturational models in understanding the achievement of eGovernment benefits, analyzing how public organizations can realize the benefits of technological innovations, with the objective being to showcase eGovernment developments in the GCC region and introduce new and successful practices via many global case studies. The forum will serve as a platform for industry experts, key government representatives, and academics from various countries to come together to discuss the latest issues and trends related to eGovernment. Overall, the forum’s objective is to create a framework for outstanding eGovernment models and formulate winning e-Government strategies, which will enhance administrative productivity, efficiency and transparency.

The forum will assemble the region’s federal and state government representatives, eGovernment executives, CIOs, and IT experts from the around the world. Delegates will be able to demonstrate their initiatives, elicit feedback from their peers, and learn about the processes, technologies, and solutions which can address their concerns, and representatives from the three major stakeholders in e-Government implementation – the government, private, and NGO sectors – will share successes, failures, and opportunities during the forum.
