Description
Cold Chain is a temperature-controlled supply chain where it aims for an unbroken series of temperature-controlled management from procurement of the raw materials right down to the receiver end, namely, consumers. Essentially an extension of the good manufacturing practice (GMP) environment promulgated by a country's Food and Drug Administration, it was hoped that there will be a quality approach to manufacturing that would minimise or ideally eliminate instances of mixups, contaminations and errors in the midst of productions, transportations and distributions by adhering to these regulations. A commitment towards a high quality cold chain process ultimately would boost consumer's assurance and confidence with regards to the products of an organisation, hence ensuring that the organisation remains a leader within its field.
Cold Chain Management Workshop offers a valuable opportunity for practitioners of logistics, distribution and operations to share their knowledge database on the best practices employed within the field of transporting temperature-sensitive products. Additionally this workshop will be the ideal platform for delegates as well as the speakers to hold stimulating discussions with regards to cold chain management.
