How to prepare, write and test Emergency Plans that are appropriate to the Risk to which your Organisation is exposed. You will also learn the characteristics of dynamic risk which occur when an incident is underway. You will learn how to identify hazards and prepare a comprehensive Hazard Register Whether you have the right resources in the right place to deal with the identified hazards; How to establish Unified Command and the Incident Command System and Emergency Organisation and how to established your communication lines are between your team and external support groups; and Whether you have taken into consideration all emergency predicaments by testing your Emergency Plans through simulated scenarios. You will experience the pressures in decision making by taking part as a member of an Emergency Response Team during an Exercise. You will get an insight into the psychology of Incident Command and how to deal with International Media.
