| Description |
Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is one of the market mechanisms created based on the Kyoto Protocol, which is a Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention Climate Change (UNFCCC) in the aim to combat global warming. According to the Kyoto Protocol, industrialised countries are legally adhered to reduce greenhouse gas from 2008 till 2012.
The main purpose executing Clean Development Mechanism projects is to aid developing countries globally to attain sustainable development. Other than that, it also assists these developing countries to reach their emission reduction commitments for a better atmosphere.
However, CDM is considered a new topic in the industry and many are facing challenges developing and mastering it to maximise its efficiency. Thus VMAC's Clean Development Mechanism workshop will provide you with insights of implementing profitable Clean Development Mechanism to assist in carbon emissions reduction.
