About your facilitators:

Peter Maguire is a partner in the Insurance and Reinsurance Group of CMS Cameron McKenna LLP. He became a partner in 1989 and has 25 years experience in professional indemnity work. He leads the firm’s Solicitors Group and acts for several Qualifying Insurers in the defence of solicitors’ claims. He also advises on coverage disputes and policy drafting and has advised professional bodies, as well as drafting a customised policy for large international law firms. He is responsible for the professional indemnity insurance of CMS Cameron McKenna and is the author of the firm’s risk management manual.

Jonathan Thorpe specialises in solicitors' and brokers' PI cases, amongst others. Jonathan has advised large national law firms on complex disputes involving areas as diverse as corporate, real estate and pensions. Jonathan has also completed two very successful secondments with well known insurers, giving him a real insight into the way in which the London market operates. Jonathan has been with the Insurance/Reinsurance Group of CMS Cameron McKenna since 2001 and was made a partner earlier this year.

Joe Bryant's practice focuses on solicitors, insurance brokers and construction professionals. Among other things, Joe deals with an increasing number of solicitors' interventions, including the various disciplinary, regulatory and coverage implications that surround them. Joe has been with the Insurance/Reinsurance Group of CMS Cameron McKenna since qualification in 1998 and has been a partner since 2007.
