Who Should Attend?
This masterclass is designed to equip the team leaders within law firms to monitor and manage their team’s performance and align it with the overall strategy and goals of the firm. This includes Heads of finance, managing partners and anyone that has people reporting to them.
Why this event?
With the condition of the market as it is, tougher times may be around the corner and it is time to consider precisely what talents and abilities your law firm should look for in a partner. A lawyer must be more that just technically outstanding, but must be actively engaged in driving the performance of the firm.
There are many ways to measure the performance of your firm and its individual contributors.
The Balanced Scorecard began as a measuring device to see whether the smaller-scale operational activities of a company are aligned with its larger-scale objectives in terms of vision and strategy. By focusing not only on financial outcomes but also on other factors, the Balanced Scorecard helps provide a more comprehensive view of a business, which in turn helps organisations act in their best long-term interests. The balanced scorecard is a strategic planning and management system that is used extensively in businesses worldwide to align not only the vision and strategy of the organisation but improve internal and external communications and monitor performance against strategic goals.
This masterclass will provide you with the knowledge to develop and use the balanced scorecard to assess your firm’s performance. The balanced scorecard has been used effectively in the corporate world for many years now, so it is time to put it into practice in your firm.
