FutureGov Forum Australia 2010 (FGFA 2010)
|Event Date/Time: Jul 26, 2010||End Date/Time: Jul 27, 2010|
In the post-Gershon world how can government ICT be used to drive efficiency and lower costs?
FutureGov Forum Australia – our 12th event in the regional Asia Pacific series – will focus on the issues at the heart of the Australasian public sector, using our unique FutureGov Forum format to bring senior Australian civil servants and international representatives together face-to-face.
Senior government IT officials recently mapped out their future priorities with FutureGov magazine’s editorial team: boosting citizen engagement; maintaining trust online; consolidating infrastructure and exploring alternative service delivery models; greening the business of government IT.
Echoing the concerns of federal government, Australia’s state government IT officials spoke with FutureGov’s editorial team to pinpoint their number one challenge: how can state agencies use enterprise technology for efficiency and sustainability. Their key areas of interest to meet this challenge were: shared services, bridging the rural-urban divide, managing the cost of infrastructure delivery, and improving the quality of project management and delivery.
Building on our established relationships with state and federal government in Australia and beyond, the Forum will focus on key issues including::
* Web 2.0 & Citizen Engagement
* Green IT
* Next Generation Broadband
* Cloud Computing
* Cyber Security
* Citizen Authentication
* Enterprise Content Management
* Public Private Partnerships
* Business Intelligence & Analytics
* Compliance & Risk Management
FutureGov Forum Australia is your high-performance networking event, geared to knowledge-sharing and exchange between countries.
