The 17th Annual South Dakota International Business Conference is South Dakota’s premiere international conference, held in the beautiful Black Hills region of South Dakota.
In 2009, the conference hosted over forty papers in seven sessions on a variety of issues of interest to both the international business researcher and the business professional. The 2009 conference represented a diverse group of participants from countries around the world, including China, Germany, India, Oman, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and the United States. We expect the 2010 conference to achieve even better attendance marks.
With registration for the International Business Conference, participants are invited to listen to an internationally known speaker while enjoying an evening of fine dining, camaraderie, and a stunning view of the monument at the Mount Rushmore Memorial during our Keynote dinner. Attendees include state and local business leaders, members of the South Dakota Board of Regents, State of South Dakota Senators and Representatives, international business leaders, local and international students and university business faculty from around the world. The keynote speaker event supports and enhances the International Business Conference.
The 2010 Keynote Speaker will be Blake Mycoskie, founder and chief shoe giver of TOMS Shoes, Inc. For additional details on the Keynote Dinner, please visit our website at www.northern.edu/ceib/ibc .
