This webinar will be presented by ICC Task Force on Privacy and the Protection of Personal Data Chair Christopher Kuner, Partner with Hunton & Williams in Brussels, who led the negotiations with the European Commission on the changes and Bojana Bellamy, Head of Global Data Privacy Compliance in Accenture.

Aimed at company privacy officers and those who counsel them, this interactive session with two internationally recognized experts will explain the changes to the new EU standard contractual clauses, which come into effect on May 15 and thus are of vital importance for companies transferring data between controllers in the 27 member states of the European Union and data processors both inside and outside the EU.

As the lead negotiator with the European Commission on behalf of ICC and its partner business associations, ICC Data Protection Task Force Chair Christopher Kuner is uniquely placed to explain the background to the changes in the new clauses.

Accenture's Bojana Bellamy will speak about how these changes affect a company's day-to-day business operations.

Participants will have ample opportunity to pose questions to the experts in advance and during the session. Written materials will also be provided in advance to participants.
