Description
The Redefining Therapeutic Paradigms for Microtubule Inhibitors satellite symposium will highlight advances in the use of novel cytotoxic agents for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer (MBC), non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic cancer, and melanoma. Recent data indicate that novel taxane formulations and other microtubule-interacting agents might improve the therapeutic index in MBC and NSCLC. In addition, these agents are demonstrating activity in melanoma and pancreatic cancer, malignancies that have been resistant to traditional taxanes. Didactic lectures from experts will set the stage for a case-based panel discussion and question-and-answer sessions that will provide practical perspectives on current clinical data.
