CONFERENCE FORMAT
The conference will welcome papers and posters and will include presentations by selected keynote speakers who provide state-of-the art overviews of main topics in focus. The conference will also provide sessions for Biotechnology relevant industrial companies to share and discuss their views in an open discussion with the conference delegates. The industry sessions are intended to encourage academic-industry partnership.

LANGUAGE
The official conference language will be English. However, abstracts written in Arabic will also be considered provided an English translation is accompanied.

 Biotechnology strives to enhance our quality of life through improved pharmaceuticals, disease diagnostics, vaccines, therapies and treatment, nutrition and environmental quality.
 The topics concerning pharmaceuticals and disease diagnostics will be priority to be accepted.


C. AGRICULTURAL BIOTECHNOLOGY
 Crop Biotechnology: Include production improvement, impact on developing countries
 Forest Biotechnology and Animal Biotechnology.


D. ETHICS, POLICY AND SOCIAL ON BIOTECHNOLOGY
The role of government in using biotechnology as a tool to improve the quality of society life
 Ethical issues & Legislations

E. All Technologies, tools and their application such as recombinant DNA technology, cell culture, cloning, research applications, genomic, proteomic, bioinformatics, nanobiotechnology which supported those 4 main topics will be invited.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts and full papers in English. All submissions will be peer reviewed based on originality, technical quality and presentation. For extended abstract, abstract must be written in accordance with the guideline given below and sent by electronic mail to ICAB2010@act.sd.

ABSTRACTS - SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
Abstracts should not be more than 200 words. Please use font Times New Roman size 12. Author presenting the work must be underlined. Authors must select their choice of presentation (Oral or Poster). Conference Scientific Committee will make every effort to honor this request if the abstract is accepted for presentation; however, the final decision will be left to the Committee’s discretion.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The conference general program will be composed of Keynote speech, plenary sessions and posters.
