James H. Bray, Ph.D. is the 2009 President of the American Psychological Association. He is an Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, USA. His NIH funded research focuses on developmental factors in divorce, remarriage, and stepfamilies, adolescent substance use, and collaboration between psychologists and primary care physicians. He also maintains an active clinical practice focusing on children and families.
