Today’s militaries often find themselves working closely together in a Joint Operational Environment. When they do, a host of compatibility issues arise that would not necessarily be the case if one nation fought alone. Recognising this in a multi-national and multi service environment is becoming critically important as operations in Afghanistan have clearly demonstrated.

A key aspect of this is the interoperability of munitions.

How do we look after and deploy our munitions in this increasingly complex environment and how should they be supported?
How do we look after guided munitions and how well are insensitive munitions being integrated?
What issues are there in the standardisation of ammunition in NATO and non-NATO countries?
What is the latest operational feedback from current theatres?

Joint Munition Effects 2010 will be your opportunity this year to meet munition specialists and operational commanders from across all environments. Listen, learn and network with leaders in munitions management and support in order to enhance multi-national capabilities.
