As the volume of information organisations have to manage rises inexorably it has become important to create a synergy between managing this information and the objectives of the company.

To develop a robust corporate information strategy that is both compliant and supports the business effectively and efficiently the following question must be answered.

What information is required to deliver your business strategy?

Too many companies develop strategies based on the information they have and not the information they will need in the long term to meet their objectives.

This masterclass will provide you with a practical overview of how to identify your information needs and implement a strong strategy that will meet your business goals in the long term. The two programmes may be taken together or you may prefer to focus on one day or the other.

Your Masterclass leader:

Alison North – recent winner of the Record Management Society Lifetime Achievement – will show you how to construct and implement a sound, efficient, safe and compliant information strategy in line with your organisation’s overall business objectives.

Alison North is Managing Director of The Genuine Group Ltd a company that was set up in early 2007 to bring together FileBusters Ltd (1995) and Document Law Ltd (2006) to provide specialist Information Management consultancy and services. Prior to this Alison set up FileBusters in 1995 having first established herself as a self employed information management consultant in 1986 after spending the previous 15 years in the petroleum exploration and production business.
