The cost of upgrading interconnections and building new super grid connections to supply Europe securely would cost approximately 209 billion Euros by 2050, the annual investment in Europe is expected to be approximately €5 billion. Response to the demand will be a powerful tool for meeting the challenges ahead - be part of it!

Our goal over two days is to share real-life applications, new energy policies and develop recommendations for the rapid development of new key technologies of smart grids.

Stakeholder groups will examine the benefits and barriers related to grid modernization, Utilities and vendors will share their adjustments to a changing business model that revolves around a renewed focus on consumer needs.

In addition to showcasing best practices in smart grid implementation, SMART GRIDS, SMART CITIES – SMART FUTURE will feature industry-leading dialogues among consumers, local governments, the financial community and more that will yield important insights for all who are building and talking about Smart Grids.
