Females are more likely to attend their GP than males, and young children are also frequent visitors to a surgery. This practical one day masterclass, back by popular demand in 2010, will update you on the management of your patients in these two important groups.

Using case examples, our expert speakers will focus on key topics that GPs tell us they find the most challenging. In the women’s health session, speakers will cover key issues in the sexual health of young women and common presentations to a GP by those of a reproductive age. You will also be brought right up to date with the recent guidelines in diagnosing and managing the menopause in primary care.

The paediatrics session will advise you in the difficult areas of paediatric neurology, behavioural problems and developmental delay, along with gastroenterology in children.

You will learn about:
*Sexual health in young women
*Menopause and HRT
*Problems in women of reproductive age.

*Paediatric neurology
*Behavioural problems and developmental delay
