Inclusiveness is the catchword in the current political and economic arena, following the 11th plan prescription, to incorporate those who remained outside the margins, into the mainstream of developing As the world's largest democratic nation with sixty years of independence, India is still a developing economy, with the rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer. The term “Inclusion” is indeed a confession of the failure of the democratic government in the process of nation building. It also testifies that the substantial section has not yet come under the ‘benevolent umbrella’ of the nation. Under such circumstances, it is the responsibility of the government, public institutions, academicians, corporate and social organization to bring in Inclusive growth in India, with socio economic perspective. With the objective of giving suggestions to include the uncovered population into the mainstream of financial and social structure, the conference is brought up for discussing the issues, challenges and policies adopted by the government, organized and unorganized financial systems, regarding financial and social inclusion.
