Over 60% of bachelor degree recipients will attend more than one institution. As transfer rates continue to increase, four-year campuses must find ways to keep students who transfer engaged and help them be successful. Campus housing is a critical component to add when discussing the retention of students who transfer.

Join us to explore two options for creating on-campus living that will integrate transfer students into the larger campus community and support their success.

This program explores many different considerations when assessing the need for and planning transfer student housing. As such, we recommend that representatives from several campus offices participate together.

* Student housing and residential life personnel will benefit from this program by understanding a variety of ways they can increase housing options and programming for transfer students.

* Admissions and enrollment professionals will benefit from this program by beginning to think through enrollment trends of transfer students and ways to market these various options to the students.

* Chief financial officers and capital planners will learn about financial considerations and impacts of different approaches.
