Plan to attend NASHP’s 23rd Annual State Health Policy Conference. NASHP’s conference is the premier national event focused on state health policy and has been the catalyst for significant improvements in state health policy and practice. With the passage of health reform legislation, states are eager to get the information they need to begin implementation. This year’s conference will include CMS Administrator Donald Berwick who will speak at the plenary “Leading the Band: Federal Action that Supports State Implementation.” Rosemary Gibson, national leader and author in patient safety and health care quality, will speak at the plenary titled “Moving from Overtreatment to Patient-Centered Care.”

Conference sessions will also feature a broad range of topics including:
• Building insurance exchanges
• Aligning coverage across Medicaid, CHIP and exchanges
• Reforming the delivery system
• Reducing health disparities
• Implementing new payment models

Be a part of the discussions at our intensive and five primer sessions, network with the experts, and learn what tools states need to achieve successful implementation of health reform. Join state program administrators, legislators, and other health policy experts at our three-day conference.
