The Official Side Event is being hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), and the Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI) at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida on October 27, 2010 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm.
DOE, ACORE, and IPPAI are convening this panel to examine how regulators in the U.S. and India have approached the transmission expansion that is necessary to increase utilization of renewable energy in the U.S. and India. Government and business leaders will comment on recent developments and also discuss what steps are still necessary.
