Attendees from around the world will share thoughts and experiences on business or government interaction with universities through knowledge transfer mechanisms such as knowledge transfer partnerships, spin-outs, incubators, licensing of intellectual property, collaborative applied research, and many others. They will disseminate and discuss best practise, research projects, policy development, working practises and case studies.
You should consider attending if you are involved in collaborative activity between industry and academia, perhaps as a professional, academic or manager working or conducting research in the fields of knowledge or technology transfer.
More information can be found on the conference website at innovationkt.org
The call for papers is currently open. Submitted papers will be subjected to peer review by an international panel. Accepted full papers will be presented at the conference, orally or as a poster, and published in proceedings from Springer-Verlag.
"There isn't another conference that gathers together such a tremendous range of knowledge transfer experience and expertise." Bob Howlett, on IKT'09
