Description
Overview
This two-day course will provide participants with a framework for resolving conflict more effectively by understanding what conflict really is and how to prevent it from taking on a life of its own in the workplace. The course will illustrate that conflict is natural whenever human beings work together; therefore it is critical that course participants have the skills to handle and manage conflict in productive ways. Through a combination of lectures and interactive exercises, participants will learn different conflict resolution styles and how and when to use them, how to strengthen staff trust and morale using positive verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, and effective intervention and facilitation strategies.
