The Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society and the Bahrain Society of Chemists are pleased to announce the 2nd International Laboratory Technology Conference & Exhibition (LABTECH 2011). The conference will be held at the Gulf International Convention Center, Gulf Hotel, Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 8-12, 2011.
The conference will be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Oil and Gas Affair and Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The theme of this Conference and the Exhibition is “Advanced Technology Solutions for Laboratory Management”. The conference will bring together regional, national and international experts in all aspects of laboratory operations, including new techniques, work force development, quality, health, safety and environment management. The conference aims to offer a floor for all delegates to interact with experts in laboratories operations that support oil & gas, petrochemical, and water industries. The conference provides an opportunity for participants to meet with scientists, engineers, academicians and technologists from all over the world.
Panel Discussion:
The conference is also organizing a platform for panel discussions under the title, “New Horizons Towards Laboratory Automation and Quality Assurance”. This discussion will touch the most pressing issues facing the laboratory management and adopting a structured approach towards solving the increasingly complex product quality issues faced by refiners today. Discussions will also include redefining the standards that can help a laboratory to improve its performance and new areas for future collaboration and technology transfer. An exhibition will also be held alongside the conference that will involve leading companies showcasing the latest state-of-the-art instruments being used in modern laboraties.
