The PRO-TEM Network is organising the Sustainable Thermal Energy Management International Conference (SusTEM 2011) 25th - 27th October 2011 in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. There will be a series of parallel presentations during this three-day international conference and the conference sessions will be built around high quality paper submissions. The scope of the conference will include: • system design and analysis • equipment, processes and process integration • waste heat recovery • modelling, sensor and control systems • use of novel technology and cycles • energy maintenance and diagnostics • optimisation, barriers and challenges • industrial application • thermal power • energy storage • and any other relevant topics Up to 20 selected papers from SusTEM 2011 will appear in a special issue of Applied Thermal Engineering journal published by Elsevier. I would like to invite you to contribute a research paper for the SusTEM 2011 international conference. We are asking authors to submit the proposed paper title and a short abstract to the PRO-TEM Network Coordinator not later than Monday, the 20th December 2010.
