The course facilitator has practised Trade Marketing at high levels, planning, leading and implementing many Trade Marketing and Category Management initiatives and major global sales projects with most of the world’s leading retailers. These include Wal*Mart across NAFTA globally, and Carrefour, Tesco, Metro and Auchan at international level.

In addition to this, the course facilitator has worked in a variety of trade sectors, not only Grocery, but also in DIY (B&Q and Castorama), Electrical Goods (Comet and Currys in the UK) and Catalogue Retailing.

The course facilitator’s experience includes senior roles at Electrolux and A.C. Nielsen followed by several years as International Trade Marketing Manager at Freudenberg Household Products, before forming his own company, Cat:Man+, growing categories and developing business in real commercial situations..

The course facilitator also developed software tools for the Trade Marketing profession and the software has been used on projects for Unilever, Kimberly Clark, Heineken, Kellogg’s, Heinz, Audi, Samsung, Camelot, Henkel, PepsiCo and Sky.

The course facilitator’s practical, hands-on approach has built sustaining turnovers for both companies he has worked for and those companies for whom he has consulted and in whose Category Management projects he has been involved.
