We take great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 5th international symposium â€œContemporary Issues of Literary Criticismâ€ which will be held in September 28-30, 2011.
The symposium is thematic. The main topic of the event is:
â€œMythological Thinking, Folklore and Literary Discourse.
European and the Caucasian Traditionâ€
(Dedicated to Vazha-Pshavelaâ€™s 150th Birthday Anniversary)
A Special Panel dedicated to Georgian Classic writer Vazha-Pshavela will be operating. Other sections will be compiled in accordance with the submitted abstracts.
The forms of participation:
Presentations, participation in discussions;
Round-table, participation in discussions;
Participation without attendance (unattended form).
Participation without presentation;
Working languages of the Symposium are Georgian, English, Russian.
The interested applicants should send paper titles, abstracts of no more than 250 words (Font: Times New Roman, Size 11, Line spacing - single) and filled registration forms electronically by May 1, 2011 to the Organizing Committee on the following email: email@example.com (for Mariam Nebieridze).
Please note that the thesis that does not follow the formatting rules will not be evaluated!
The organizing committee of the symposium grants the right to evaluate the submitted abstracts and determine whether it is appropriate for the symposium.
The approved participants will be sent informational communiquÃ© and they have to pay the registration fee.
Registration fee for participants â€“ 80 EUR.
Participation without attendance â€“ 40 EUR
Participation without presentation â€“ 40 EUR
The registration fee includes:
Coffee breaks during symposium days
Lunches during symposium days
Symposium Publications (Programme, Thesis)
After the completion of the symposium a volume of peer-reviewed selected papers will be published (symposium proceedings). The submitted papers will undergo blind peer-review (Please, note that the postal service of sending the proceedings is not included in the registration fee)
