This year's Traumatolgy Symposium connects the work of human services professionals to contemporary global events. From natural disasters to terrorism, economic downturn to upward trends of domestic violence, we focus on trauma at the societal level and how that has shaped the role of the practitioner and the profession: what needs to be learned; what approaches are effective; and how we take care of ourselves.
This 1 1/2 day program presents the best in research, techniques, and experiences to help practitioners and students improve their practice and connect with otehrs in the field. After dinner Friday night, a panel of experts will take part in a keynote address and audience Q & A.
