Training School on Behavioural Treatments for Tic Disorders

From Tuesday May 10th to Thursday May 12th, Tourettes Action will be hosting a Behavioural Therapy Training School for health professionals working with people with Tourette Syndrome.
The workshops will be held at the Hallam Conference Centre in London W1.
Organised and hosted by the COST Action "European Network for the Study of GTS" and Tourette Action, this three day training school will feature sessions by leading practitioners in the field of Behavioural Treatment for both adults and children with Tourette Syndrome.
These workshops are for professionals already qualified to practice Behavioural Treatments.
The cost is Â£85 per day, which includes work books and all refreshments and lunch. Delegates are welcome to attend for just one, two or all three days.
A draft timetable is set out below.
Tues May 10th
Full day (10.30am - 5.00pm) focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Habit Reversal Therapy for adults.
Wednesday 11th May
Full day (10.45am - 5.00pm) focusing on psychoeducational work in TS, neuropsychological assessment in children with TS and research in behavioural treatments for TS.
Thursday 12th May
Full day (09.30am - 5.00pm) focusing on history and practice of, and guidelines for behavioural treatments for adults and children with TS, as well as live participants for treatments and complex case discussion.
