This scientific event will bring together experts and researchers from around the globe:
to share the scientific vision of experts on new avenues of research on nursing interventions;
to promote exchange and discussion through keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, poster presentations and through bringing together researchers and clinicians;
to develop nursing practice, promote innovation and inspire change;
to foster evidence-based practice in the development of nursing interventions and knowledge transfer.
The symposium is being organized by three groups of nurse researchers from Canada and the United States. The research group GRIISIQ (Quebec Interuniversity Nursing Intervention Research Group) is located in Montreal and contributes to this research domain by providing an infrastructure that fosters synergy between researchers, clinicians, and decision-makers from the four Quebec (Canada) universities and their affiliated health care centres. Our partners in this endeavor, Ryerson University and Arizona State University, are playing leading roles in the emergence of this research domain, and they have enthusiastically joined us to plan this exciting event. The keynote addresses feature internationally recognized leaders from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.
