The conference aims to bring together academic researchers, medical practitioners and other professionals with a variety of backgrounds to explore biochemical and clinical aspects of shizophrenia.
This conference will be held using a novel format of virtual reality meeting, designed to maximize sharing, community-building and interaction with a line-up of leading speakers.
The topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Advances in Genetics of schizophrenia
- Neurodevelopmental hypothesis of schizophrenia
- Energy metabolism in schizophrenia
- Animal models of schizophrenia
- Neurotransmitter system dysfunction in schizophrenia

MMoS2011 requires electronic submission. Information on the submission process will be provided on the conference website. Submissions should contain no information that will be proprietary or confidential at the time of publication.
Full papers should not exceed 14 pages in length. The proceedings will also be made available online.
Posters are solicited that present recent and on-going research. The poster submissions should include a description of the research. Abstracts will be printed in the adjunct conference proceedings and the poster will be presented at the conference poster and demonstration sessions.
