About the Conference:

With the contribution of urban population to national GDP most likely to touch 70 per cent this year, the urgent requirement for reforms in Urban Water Supply and Infrastructure, as earlier indicated by the Union Ministry of Urban Development needs much attention from both the public and private sector. With an aim to provide a common interactive platform to address this need, for all relevant stakeholders, ASAPP Conferences in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers will organize its 2nd Annual India H2O Conference 2011, with the theme of ‘Managing India’s Urban Water Supply and Infrastructure, through PPP’, on April 13-14, 2011 at ITC Grand Central (Parel), Mumbai.

The 1st Annual India H2O Conference 2010, inaugurated by Union Water minister Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of Water Resources was held in the month of May on the theme ‘Development and Management of Water Resources for National Growth’ and received overwhelming support and active participation from over 130 decision makers from Industry and central government.

At this annual, Industry leaders and experts will discuss and deliberate over key challenges and opportunities in the distribution, supply and pricing of water; water & wastewater treatment technologies; operational challenges in the administration of urban water & wastewater systems and opportunities to overcome the same through Public Private Partnership (PPP).
